My Day at Studio Crescendoh
Last weekend I had the pleasure of painting at Studio Crescendoh; remember the birth of the seal? Jenny invited to me to come and experience one of her Painting Studios for my birthday. What a great treat it was.
I had a blast being in the same environment as other painters, where we were able to share conversation, frustrations, vulnerabilities, paint in silence, and glance over our shoulders to peak at one another's work. It was a really great experience.
It was there that I declared myself a painter of whimsical illustrations. I like that, and I felt good about my proclamation.
I have been working on some new work that I can't wait to share. I tell you, these days the paintings are coming faster than I can keep up with. I'll take that as a good sign.

That sounds like a lot of fun Jennifer! Your illustrations are always so cheerful and colorful ... I love that about them! It's wonderful to get on a creative roll, and yes, that's a very good sign! xo
