Horses & Seals

So you might remember this post about the penguins. Well last week I had two more dreams, I've actually had many more dreams then that, but two more involving animals. One of the dream involved two horses, and the other, a seal. I seem to find these dreams so fascinating. And I am lucky enough that my aunt bought me a book on animal symbolism so I have something to reference to help guide why these animals are coming to me.

In the book, it said the horse brings with it new journey's. The horse will teach me to ride in a new direction to awaken and discover my own power. It also asks what the horse was doing. The first horse was gracefully leaping over me and my brother. The second horse was walking, carrying a girl who looked like she was worn out, done, and ready to move on.
The second dream was about a playful seal in the harbor who sought me out to flirt with, which was quite cute I might add. Key things that stood out to me when I looked up a seal were: water is a creative element, and seals spend a lot of time there. It says to PAY ATTENTION when these animals show up, and that I can expect my dreams to become even more vivid and significant. It also talked about how seals bear their young on land, and to quote, "This is very significant, as it reflects the ability to bring the creative force out from the inner and set it in motion in the outer."

So I spent Sunday at Studio Crescendoh where I felt a strong urge to paint the seal. When I posted the picture on Facebook, my aunt wrote: "Look how proud he looks with his head held up high and his chest puffed out. Nothing can bring him down." I love that, and will end the post here.
